Skytop Lodge, an historic mountain resort opened with much fanfare in 1928. One of the founding fathers and physician Dr. Earl Mayne was an advocate of the benefits of being in nature and enjoying outdoor experiences. Accommodations

Skytop Lodge offers an array of overnight accommodations. Guests can choose the historic Skytop Lodge, which recently completed a two million dollar room renewal. Flat screen TV’s, and high speed Internet are now in most rooms. The inviting wrap-around porch provides guests with jaw-dropping views of the Pocono Mountains and Skytop’s 75-acre lake. For children under the age of 17 service charges apply. Service charge includes child’s meals.

The Inn at Skytop overlooks one of Robert White’s signature 18-hole championship golf courses. The Inn is reminiscent of a European ski chalet using the same mountain stone as the main lodge, with exposed beam ceilings, and rich woods, while local artist’s accent the walls. Guest rooms have private porches that provide views of the golf course and the surrounding mountains. Each room is spacious and modern offering guests king-size beds dressed in plush comforters, wireless Internet access, gas fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs and more. The Streamside Cottages are elegant and very private nestled between the 18th fairway and a clear mountain stream. Secluded porches provide the perfect venue to idyll the day away.
