Don’t know about you, but this is my favorite time of year! Do visions of sugarplums, candy canes, gumdrops, and fanciful gingerbread houses dance in your head? Don’t have time to whip-up a Gingerbread creation of your own. No worries, as pastry chef, Christina Kuhar, and her culinary team of elves are busy preparing and building a lifesize Gingerbread House that delights children and adults alike.
This year, edible architecture will take on a Victorian flair, and it’s going to be bigger and more ornate than last year’s delicious creation. After every candy cane, gumdrop and gingerbread shingle is in place, travelers are welcome to come and get into the holiday spirit during Skytop’s themed weekends. The holiday events start with Decorating and Dining, followed by consecutive Gingerbread Weekends and then of course, Skytop’s traditional Christmas celebration. The festivities kick-off December 3 and continue through the New Year.
Skytop’s already in the news with a special Gingerbread House feature on Uptake.com; read more here, http://bit.ly/9dLAzn.
Win a family getaway to next year’s Gingerbread Weekend. How you ask? This holiday season Sktyop will test your gingerbread knowledge via a fun trivia contest. Visit the resort’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/skytoplodge) soon for further details.
Happy Holidays!
