Jacqueline Lewis: Skytop’s Facebook Family Reunion Winner
As you’ve all probably heard, Jacqueline Lewis, is the winner of Skytop’s family reunion Facebook giveaway contest. It was a hard choice as we had so many fabulous entries.
Jacqueline shared so many great memories founded at Skytop Lodge. Her son learned to ski, snowshoe, and even had his first date at the ice-skating rink with a girl he had met at dinner. Jacqueline’s son had always enjoyed golf lessons but today he’s found a new passion, skeet shooting.
What touched us all at Skytop was Jacqueline’s family story and their devotion to their mum, Joan Lewis, who celebrated her 70th birthday at Skytop Lodge. Beyond the favorite family memories at Skytop Lodge is a story of courage and grace, as Jacqueline’s mum, Joan Lewis, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Joan apparently is not a woe-is-me kinda gal, as she told her family to please do something nice for someone else today as that will make her the happiest of all. This request has spurred a website and Facebook page touching people across 7 continents, many countries, and just about all 50 states.
To the Lewis family we wish you all a great family reunion adventure this week full of new memories, cherished moments, and miles of smiles and laughter!
