USA Today Features Skytop Lodge as a place to stay in the Poconos

Tis the season for planning a summer vacation, and Travel Tips — USA Today.com has unearthed, in my opinion, one of the best places in the northeast to take a family vacation.  The Pocono Mountains offer an abundance of family activities. Of course great resorts, and Skytop Lodge certainly fits the bill are readily available, but the area also offers fun, old-fashion family outings.  Think soft-service ice cream cones from a retro, roadside stand, complete with picnic benches and of course fabulous mountain views. Or  enjoy a day at a county fair, and a must stop when traveling to the Poconos is confectioner extraordinaire Mr. Callie of  Callies Candy Kitchen, the place is nirvana for kids
