Does living close to nature reduce stress?

A recent article in O Magazine What To Do When You Need a Break states that the closer you live to nature the less likely you are to feel anxious and depressed, reported by Jennifer Rainey Marquez, O Magazine, page 123.

Skytop’s founding fathers have known for years that getting out in nature is probably one of life’s best remedies for reducing stress and anxiety.  Really, how can you be stressed watching a deer peacefully graze, or a beaver busy building a dam, making work look like play.

Ok so it’s winter be a kid or take your kid sled riding, skiing or ice-skating or it could be as simple as a snowball fight or building a snowman.  Did we mention that this year Skytop has introduced a totally new outdoor activity dog-sledding.

So why are you still on your computer?  Go out.  Play.  Get cold and then enjoy a cup of hot chocolate!
