Holiday Dining and Decorating Weekend was a blast!
Last weekend was Holiday Dining and Decorating Weekend at Skytop. We had a fabulous turnout and everyone had a blast! First everyone made live boxwood trees that will last until well after the holiday season at home. Everyone chose how they would like to decorate their trees and it was fun to see how different each person’s creation was. Next we created monogrammed wreaths using either your first or last initial. This craft was a little on the advanced side but with the help of the Flower Shop’s designers everyone did a fantastic job. Then it was time for centerpieces… We made candles out of jumbo pine cones and floating candle holders out of natural birch branches. After the class was over, everyone couldn’t wait to go home and have a party so they could show off all of their goodies. Skytop offers Boxwood Tree classes every Saturay at 10:00 during the holiday season for $10 a tree. Call the Flower Shop for more information. 570-595-8934
