With 5,500 acres, 30+ miles of trails which convey into back county skiing and snowshoeing (they even have dinosaur shaped snowshoes for the little ones) and one of the oldest functioning toboggan runs on the East Coast it really is a winter, playground.  Add in an ice-skating rink, downhill skiing, sledding and nature walks to spot all of the elusive nocturnal critters that roam about such as the bobcat, coyote, red fox, otter and mink; plus John Serrao, Skytop’s onsite naturalist also points out Black Bear dens.  Quite the playground indeed.  Read more here http://bit.ly/6QvIq9
